Bubbling under: Chocolate Photography NYC - DAINTY DETAILS

Hi there,

Welcome! Chocolate Photography has finally gotten out of my dreams and into my life...and I thank God for everything.

If you are on this blog, then you must be a prospective client and I value your time that you have taken to view tidbits of my wedding and lifestyle photography portfolio. It is still in its developing stages and I hope to build on it with your support of course and as I develop Chocolate Photography's new and improved 'lomofied' :P blog (coming soon to a theatre near you!). I am so glad you are prospectively a part of this journey with me.

So, let's go.

What's in a name? LOL I get that all the time heheh :). Because I love Chocolate. Simple as that. Always have and always will. For years my passwords on my various accounts (work, email, etc) would usually be some variant of the word "chocolate" (not to worry I will have to change all of that now won't I ha!). Decadent, rich, sweet chocolate. Ahhhh. I can't tell you enough about the benefits of Chocolate (not that I would try to sell anyone on it) but let's keep it at that :P! Above all the above, the name just felt right ;)

Why wedding and lifestyle photography? As a child, I always loved pictures. I was always hijacking my Dad's camera's and taking pictures of the family with it. The poor man was quite frustrated atimes with various antics which involved sneaking the camera to school or to church, generally places where he did not feel they belonged! Apparently it was more than a phase... we know that now! Why wedding photography? The main reason I am getting into photography, honestly is because of my love of weddings and all things weddings and love and all that stuff. Telling the stories and catching the moments, it's like catching lightning. Plain and simple. I don't pretend to have a degree or formal schooling in photography but I have a knack and eye for lovely things and I think weddings are quite the ceremony/big event of anyone's life that decides to have one and is there really anything better to be captured on film???

Chocolate photography style: will develop as I go along and grow as a wedding and lifestyle photographer. That said, at heart, I am all about the moments. The ones that are easily missed and never reenacted but hopefully captured by someone's lens to be reminisced upon for years to come.

Timeless poignant moments will be captured and I hope to create fun, fresh and spicy images that showcase the essence of the people I see through my lens. No two Chocolate Photography "stories" should look the same, each one will be unique because my clients will be unique and special each in their own right... Hmmm. Lofty heights can be attained...

Below are a few selections from what I have as of now, here and there. I hope you will be with me on this journey. If you like what you see then let's talk -
